In that context, science and technology play an important role on all three pillars of sustainable development, namely economic development, social development and environmental protection.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;\">Developing science, technology and innovation is the basis for improving productivity, quality, efficiency and competitiveness of the economy.
