The head of the two agencies&#8217; international cooperation divisions, as well as relevant members, attended the conference.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"wp-image-61785 aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/tcvn.gov.vn\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/170.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"605\" height=\"403\" srcset=\"https:\/\/tcvn.gov.vn\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/170.jpg 1170w, https:\/\/tcvn.gov.vn\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/170-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/tcvn.gov.vn\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/170-768x512.jpg 768w, https:\/\/tcvn.gov.vn\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/170-1024x683.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 605px) 100vw, 605px\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;\">Mr. Ha Minh Hiep shared at the meeting about the General Department of Quality Assurance&#8217;s main objectives for the next five years, including the development of a National Standardization Strategy, the review and amendment of the Law on Standards and Technical Regulations, the Law on Product Quality, and supporting the implementation of Vietnam&#8217;s commitments in new-generation free trade agreements.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;\">Furthermore, in the context of critical emerging technologies (Critical Emerging Technologies &#8211; CET) such as artificial intelligence, blockchain, advanced manufacturing, smart cities, and others are rapidly evolving, affecting many sectors of society. Life standards are becoming increasingly significant as standards play a pioneering role in shaping the course of technology.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;\">As a result, STAMEQ will strengthen Vietnam&#8217;s participation in the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) in order to keep up with current trends and assist the harmonization of national and international standards. Particularly in developing technology areas, the economy is booming.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 10pt;\">Mr. Ha Minh Hiep stated that the General Department aims to participate more deeply in Phase 2 of the Project on Standards for Emerging Key Technologies, which is headed by Standards Australia.
