Many results presented in the report have been obtained in\u00a0collaboration with scientists from national and overseas universities and research institutions.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/vinatom.gov.vn\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/01\/AR-2021.pdf\" class=\"wc-shortcodes-button wc-shortcodes-button-primary wc-shortcodes-button-position-\" title=\"Visit Site\"><span class=\"wc-shortcodes-button-inner\">Download<\/span><\/a>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Following the new format of the Annual Report 2020, the Annual Report 2021 of Vietnam\u00a0Atomic Energy Institute is modified, completed, and issued. Despite the ongoing COVID-19\u00a0pandemic, this report aims to summarize the significant activities of the VINATOM during the\u00a0period 1 January to 31 December 2021.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The first main part of this publication seeks to provide the status of the VINATOM and illustrative\u00a0descriptions of the VINATOM\u2019s activities within the context of unprecedented difficulties in\u00a0enduring and coping with severe consequences of the pandemic. Refusing to step back, under\u00a0the direction of the Board of Management, Vietnam Atomic Energy Institute has flexibly and\u00a0determinedly made huge efforts to surpass certain obstacles and achieved proud results in\u00a0terms of research, services, and applications.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The second part presents the reports of scientific research projects at ministerial and\u00a0institutional levels which are accomplished and accepted during the year concerned. The\u00a0research reports are categorized into the following subjects:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">1. Nuclear Physics, Reactor Physics<br \/>\n2. Instrumentation, Nuclear Electronics<br \/>\n3. Industrial Applications<br \/>\n4. Applications in Ecology, Environment and Geology<br \/>\n5. Applications in Biology, Agriculture and Medicine<br \/>\n6. Radiation Safety and Radioactive Waste Management<br \/>\n7. Radiation Technology<br \/>\n8. Radiochemistry and Materials Science<br \/>\n9. Computation and other related topics.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The reports are expected to offer all readers an insight into the Institute\u2019s accomplishments in\u00a0research and development throughout the year.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A photo collection covering the VINATOM\u2019s 2021 remarkable events is added into this\u00a0publication as a vivid description of what we have been through.<br \/>\nThe pandemic will pass, but sustainable values remain.
