Many results presented in the report have been obtained in collaboration with scientists from national and overseas universities and research institutions.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<a href=\"https:\/\/vinatom.gov.vn\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/VINATOM-ANNUAL-REPORT-2022.pdf\" class=\"wc-shortcodes-button wc-shortcodes-button-primary wc-shortcodes-button-position-\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"Visit Site\"><span class=\"wc-shortcodes-button-inner\">Download<\/span><\/a>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Following the new format of the Annual Report 2021, the Annual Report for 2022 of Vietnam Atomic Energy Institute is modified, completed, and issued. Despite the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic in the first half of the year, this report aims to summarize the significant activities of the Institute during the period 1 January to 31 December 2022.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The first main part of this publication seeks to provide the status of the Institute and illustrative descriptions of the Institute&#8217;s activities within the context of unprecedented difficulties in enduring and coping with severe consequences of the pandemic. Refusing to step back, under the direction of the Board of Management, Vietnam Atomic Energy Institute has flexibly and determinedly made huge efforts to surpass certain obstacles and achieved proud results in terms of research, services, and applications.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The second part presents the reports of scientific research projects at ministerial and institutional levels which are accomplished and accepted during the year concerned. The research reports are categorized into the following subjects:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">1. Nuclear Physics, Reactor Physics<br \/>\n2. Research Reactor, Nuclear Power Technology, Nuclear Safety, Nuclear Power<br \/>\nTechnology<br \/>\n3. Instrumentation, Nuclear Electronics<br \/>\n4. Industrial Applications<br \/>\n5. Applications in Ecology, Environment and Geology<br \/>\n6. Applications in Biology, Agriculture and Medicine<br \/>\n7. Radiation Safety and Radioactive Waste Management<br \/>\n8. Radiation Technology<br \/>\n9. Radiochemistry and Materials Science<br \/>\n10. Computation and other related topics.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The reports are expected to offer all readers an insight into the Institute\u2019s accomplishments in research and development throughout the year.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A photo collection covering the Institute\u2019s 2022 remarkable events is added into this publication as a vivid description of what we have been through.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The pandemic will pass, but sustainable values remain.
