Dear colleagues,<\/span><\/p>\n

Following the success of the 11<\/span>^{th<\/span><\/sup>\u00a0National Conference on Nuclear Science and Technology held in Da Nang city in 2015, we are pleased to announce that the 12<\/span>^{th<\/span><\/sup>\u00a0Regional Conference on Nuclear Science and Technology (VINANST-12) is expected to hold in Nha Trang City on Aug<\/span><\/a>ust 2 \u2013 4, 2017. It is organized by the Vietnam Atomic Energy Society (VAES), Vietnam Atomic Energy Institute (VINATOM) and Khanh Hoa Department of Science and Technology. VINANST-12 is expected to bring together not only Vietnamese scientists but also the foreign specialists, working in different fields of nuclear science and technology, for the exchange of information and presentation of the latest research results. Those who are interested in attending our conference are kindly requested to register online and send one-page abstract before the deadline on January 15, 2017. We would also appreciate if you could forward this Circular to those who might be interested in attending VINANST-12.<\/span><\/p>\n}}

Session B<\/span>: Nuclear Physics, Nuclear Data, Accelerators, and Nuclear Analysis.<\/span><\/li>\n
Session C<\/span>: Radiation Measurement, Radiation Safety and Environmental Monitoring.<\/span><\/li>\n
Session D<\/span>: Applications of Radiation and Nuclear Techniques in Industries, Agriculture, Healthcare and others.<\/span><\/li>\n
Session E<\/span>: Radiochemistry and Nuclear Chemistry, Nuclear Fuel Cycle, Nuclear Material Science and Technology, Water-Chemistry Technology, and Radioactive Waste Management.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
2. Tentative Program of the Conference<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n
The contributions to VINANST-12 will be considered for the presentation at the plenary or parallel sessions. The plenary session consists mainly of the invited talks, and each topical parallel session hosts the oral and poster presentations on a specific topic.<\/span><\/p>\n
Main language used in the Conference is English. Therefore, all domestic contributions are strongly encouraged to be presented in English.<\/span><\/p>\n

The VINANST-12 is expected to hold in Nha Trang City (Nha Trang\u00a0<\/span>is a coastal city and capital of Khanh Hoa Province, on the South Central Coast of Vietnam<\/span>).<\/span><\/p>\n

April 15, 2017<\/span>: Deadline for submission of full-text reports in MS Word format.<\/span><\/li>\n
May 30, 2017<\/span>:<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>Deadline for notification of the acceptance of the author\u2019s presentation (oral or poster) at the conference.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

Local participants: 500, 000 VND\/person<\/span><\/li>\n
Foreign participants: 100 USD\/person, to be paid in cash at the registration desk.<\/span><\/li>\n
University student participants are exempted from conference registration fee.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

Journal of Nuclear Science and Technology: A number of reports will be selected for publication in the VAES\u2019s Journal of Nuclear Science and Technology (published in English). Authors are required to register with the Editorial Board of the Journal.<\/span><\/li>\n
Some high quality reports will be selected to send for review and publication in a special issue of the international journals.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
