On the afternoon of November 15, 2024, the Viet Nam Standards and Quality Institute (VSQI) and the Quality Assurance and Testing Centre 2 (QUATEST 2) held a signing ceremony for a cooperation agreement to implement the STAMEQ vision and promote the development strategies of both parties.
The signing ceremony was attended by Mr. Nguyen Phu Quoc, Director of QUATEST 2; Ms. Ngo Thi Nhu Loan, Deputy Director of QUATEST 2; Ms. Le Thi Thanh Minh, Head of the Customer Service Division; Ms. Pham Thi Bich Van, Head of the Planning and Finance Division, along with representatives from various departments of QUATEST 2.
On behalf of the Vietnam Standards and Quality Institute, Mr. Trieu Viet Phuong, Acting Director of VSQI, attended the event along with representatives from relevant departments of the Institute.
In his speech at the ceremony, Mr. Trieu Viet Phuong expressed his pleasure and expectations for the sustainable development and close cooperation between the two parties. He also emphasized the importance of maintaining a long-term, effective partnership. In response, Mr. Nguyen Phu Quoc extended his congratulations, expressing hope that the cooperation between the two parties would grow stronger, more effective, and make a positive contribution to the overall development.

The cooperation agreement between VSQI and QUATEST 2 focuses on enhancing professional capacity, coordinating service provision, organizing workshops and conferences, and implementing promotional activities to attract, introduce, and develop customers. Both parties are committed to sharing resources, information, and collaborating on tasks, projects, and approved scientific and technological programs to ensure effective implementation.
Furthermore, the main objective of the cooperation agreement will be centered around strengthening the capacity to provide services and improving the quality of Standards, Metrology, and Quality (TCĐLCL) services. The two parties will jointly conduct training, share experiences, and develop new service packages, while also enhancing their capacity, reputation, and role within the National Quality Infrastructure system. This will ensure a balance between costs, value, and the quality of services provided to customers.
The primary goal of the signing of this cooperation agreement is to strengthen and expand service provision capabilities, while simultaneously improving the quality of TCĐLCL services for both parties. Both parties commit to sharing information, promoting, and introducing TCĐLCL services, thereby building and implementing new service packages based on the capacity of each party. Additionally, the cooperation will include specialized training, experience sharing, and coordinated service provision of TCĐLCL. Through this, both parties will enhance their capacity, reputation, and role in the National Quality Infrastructure system, ensuring harmony between costs, value, and service quality provided to each party’s customers.

On the afternoon of November 8, 2024, the Quality Assurance and Testing Centre 2 (QUATEST 2) solemnly held a grand celebration to mark its 45th anniversary, commemorating a significant milestone in its journey of establishment and development. This party provided an opportunity to reflect on the past and express gratitude for the contributions of its public employees, employees, and especially the retired officials who have played a crucial role in the success and growth of QUATEST 2.

The opening party began with the traditional song “QUATEST 2 – TU HAO DI LEN”, with its powerful melody igniting the flame of pride and the desire to reach far. The song’s lyrics evoke a journey filled with challenges yet full of glory, affirming the unity and relentless effort of the QUATEST 2 team over the past 45 years.
In a solemn atmosphere, the Center’s Board of Directors presented tokens of appreciation to express deep gratitude for the valuable contributions of previous generations. The presence of former generations not only brought pride but also served as a great source of inspiration, reminding everyone of the value of intergenerational connection, inheritance, and sustainable development.
Following the gift-giving ceremony, the party continued with a group photo session to capture memorable moments of this significant occasion. The entire team, including retired officials, public employees, and employees came together to create a beautiful commemorative photo, marking the long and meaningful journey of QUATEST 2.

The opening party was held in a cozy atmosphere, accompanied by cheerful and lively music. In addition, colleagues also recalled memorable memories and shared precious moments throughout the Center’s development. This was a great time for everyone to relax, enjoy the joy and deeply feel the solidarity and attachment in the big family of QUATEST 2.

Following Plan No. 17/KH-TLĐ dated February 5, 2024, of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor on organizing activities to celebrate the 95th anniversary of the establishment of the Viet Nam Trade Union (July 28, 1929 – July 28, 2024), and the implementation Guidelines No. 04/HD-LĐLĐ dated July 8, 2024, of the Da Nang City Union of Public Employees on organizing the ‘Union Meal’ activity.
With the approval of the Party Committee and the Board of Directors, at noon on August 30, 2024, the Executive Committee of the Trade Union in the Quality Assurance and Testing Centre 2 (QUATEST 2) organized the ‘Union Meal’ at headquarters 02 Ngo Quyen, Son Tra District, Da Nang City.
